Purpose:

The purpose of this policy is to establish a standard set of guidelines for personnel reporting to work during off duty hours.

 

Policy:

Only the incident commander or department officer may ask for a career call back.

 

If a career call back is requested, the dispatcher will set off the appropriate tones (Fire 2), noting all career staff are to report to the incident. All career personnel will report to the scene.

 

Mutual aid calls in Nelson and Augusta Counties are discouraged for career call backs.
