Rockfish Valley Hwy Fire

At approximately 13:30  Wintergreen Fire was dispatched to the 7,000 block of Rockfish Valley Highway for a reported structure fire with flames showing.  When units arrived on scene they reported heavy fire showing from side "A" on the 1st and 2nd floors.  Crews immediately started a defensive attack on the structure as well as calling for additional units to handle a brush fire that had spread to the woods nearby due to high winds.  Departments on location were Rockfish, Wintergreen, Faber, Lovingston, Piney River, and Crozet Fire.  No injuries were reported and all occupants of the structure were able to exit safely.
