Bryant Mountain Fire

Wintergreen Fire Department and Wintergreen Rescue Squad were dispatched to Bryant Mountain Road for a possible brush fire. When crews arrived on scene they found a house fully involved as well as the adjacent woods. Crews quickly deployed attack lines to get the fire under control and requested any available resources from the county to include a Tanker Task Force and the Department of Forestry to help with the woods fire. Every fire agency in Nelson County was on scene to help with the fire as well as Amherst filling quarters. There were no reported injuries during the incident.
