Vaping: What you need to know!

Recently two of our Paramedics were fortunate enough to be able to speak to several classes at Nelson Middle School in effort to educate them on the hazards of vaping. First, we would like to thank the Guidance Department and Administration of Nelson Middle School for allowing us to come into the school to provide this valuable education to the youth in Nelson County.

Our staff felt it was important to inform this age group of the risks you assume when you are taking part in Vaping, such as inhaling cancer causing chemicals, nicotine, and other known or unknown particles. It is also important to note that some of the popular flavoring added to vaping are the most dangerous.

We hope the kids from Nelson Middle School enjoyed the presentation and learned the dangers behind vaping that might save their lives. Thanks again for the opportunity to serve our community!
