Vehicle Fire - Brent's Mountain

Wintergreen Fire Department and Rockfish Valley Fire Department were dispatched to a vehicle fire on Brent’s Mountain around noon. When crews arrived on scene they found a one-ton dump truck that was fully involved with fire threatening to spread into the adjacent woods. Attack 62 was able to use the bumper turret to extinguish the fire that was in the leaves near the truck. Meanwhile, Engine 62 pulled attack lines and started to put out the fire from the vehicle. The fire was knocked down quickly and units remained on scene to mop up. There were no reported injuries on scene.
