MVC - Rte 151 & Adial

Wintergreen Fire Department and Wintergreen Rescue Squad were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash at Rockfish Valley Hwy and Adial Rd and it was reported one vehicle is on its side with power lines down. When crews arrived on scene they did find a vehicle on its side with one person still in the vehicle. The person was quickly extricated and transported. Rte 151 was shut down for a significant amount of time while the vehicle was removed and power lines repaired. Units on scene were Wintergreen Engine 62, Medic 179, Response 61, Medic 94, Rockfish Fire Engine 51, Brush 54, Ambulance 57, Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, VSP, and VDOT.
