MVC - Beech Grove Road

Wintergreen Fire Department and Wintergreen Rescue Squad were dispatched for a MVC on Beech Grove Road involving a tractor-trailer that was on its side. When crews arrived on scene they found a tractor-trailer on its side with one person that had self extricated through the front window and one lane of traffic blocked. There were trees down across the road as well that were a result of the accident. The road was blocked for several hours while crews from Stoney Creek Auto righted the truck and removed debris from the roadway. Units that were on the call were Wintergreen Engine 61, Medic 176, Chief 62, Rockfish Fire & Rescue, Nelson County Sheriff’s Office, Virginia State Police, and Stoney Creek Auto.
