Woods Fire - Montebello

Wintergreen Fire Department was dispatched for mutual aid to assist with a woods fire in the Montebello area with approximately 1/2-acre involved due to a camp fire that had not been completely extinguished. When crews arrived on scene they found fire that was spreading quickly up the mountain. Additional units were called to help out including DOF and the Kubota from Company 2. The fire was contained and there were no reported injuries. Units on scene were Wintergreen Attack 61 & 62, Montebello Fire, Piney River Fire, Rockfish Rescue Squad (Rehab), and Department of Forestry with their dozer.
