Injured Hiker

This afternoon we were called to assist a hiker with a leg injury near “Humpback Rocks”. This is certainly one of those locations where the conditions require a lot of manpower to get a patient removed from the trail. Augusta County units on scene were from Dooms Fire Department and Wilson Fire Department. Units on scene from Nelson were Wintergreen Squad 1, Medic 177, Response 61, Captain 65, Rockfish Fire & Rescue (with two EMS units), Lovingston Fire Department, Faber Fire Department, and Montebello Fire Department. One patient was transported with non-life threatening injuries.
