The Festy Experience Music Festival

October 10th, 2016 - Wintergreen Rescue Squad had the privilege of working the music festival at the Nelson County Preserve just off of Oakridge Road in Arrington this past weekend. This festival hosted artists such as Lee Ann Womack, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and the Infamous String Dusters just to name a few and drew crowds of about 4,000 attendees.

The weekend was mostly uneventful with the exception of a propane fire that affected several food vendors and burned three vehicles. There were three transports throughout the weekend with various injuries and illness. Thanks to all the fire departments involved in extinguishing the fire! Fire Departments on scene were Lovingston, Piney River, Rockfish, and Faber Fire.
