East Catoctin House Fire

Wintergreen Fire Department responded to a reported Chimney Fire late Friday evening. Engine 61 arrived 4 minutes after dispatch to a home with heavy fire from multiple second story windows. The home was occupied. All occupants had evacuated prior to our arrival. The fire is not considered suspicious. The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation. All units cleared the scene at approximately 2AM.
