RV/Structure Fire - Tyro

Wintergreen Fire Department was dispatched to assist with a RV fire that extended into the attic of the adjacent residential structure. Upon arrival crews quickly extinguished the camper and then sent crews into the residence to put out the fire within the attic. There were no injuries reported on scene. Units on location were Wintergreen Fire & Rescue (Tanker 62 and Medic 924), Piney River Fire Department (Salvage 23, Tanker 22 & 25), Montebello Fire Department (Engine 70 & Attack 71), Lovingston Fire Department (Tanker 14), Faber Fire Department (Tanker 37), and Rockfish Fire Department (Tanker 52).
